I think its crazy... rebbes nowadays... I mean I can't really judge cuz I've never seen a real live rebbe (It would be nice to meet one one day..) but from what I've heard about this whole bobov machlokes, it sounds like they do it to make themselves feel good, give themselves more honor... hello? didn't rebbes of the old time wish for the day they can step down from the position and lead a quiet humble life and learn undisturbed??
